Meanwhile, Perth's succession of warm nights has officially come to an end after the overnight minimum dipped to 19.5 degrees, just half a degree lower than is required to make it a warm night.
The run of 17 consecutive nights over 20 degrees began on February 14 and ending on March 2, easily surpassed the past record of 13 nights in a row set in 1985 and 1990.
And while the warm nights are on their way out, our run of hot days is set to continue tomorrow with the mercury tipped to hit 35, before dropping to the high-20s for the following three days.
Today's maximum marked the 26th consecutive day over 30 degrees, breaking the record set in 1988 of 25 days in row.
Punters at Future Music Festival on Sunday can expect sunny conditions with a maximum of 28 degrees, while those rocking out at Soundwave Festival on Monday will be able to enjoy a sunny day of 29 degrees.
