I am writing to advise the residents and landholders of Yass of a disturbing report from the Yass Valley Council (YVC). YVC has released the Draft Non-Urban Lands Study. The major recommendation of the study is to change, for the vast majority of the Shire, the minimum lot size from 80ha to 300ha, for land currently zoned rural 1(a).
