Renata, who lost her husband Tony to cancer earlier this year, holds the country fair annually to raise money for Yass Can Assist.
Renata was thankful to the community for supporting the event, particularly those who volunteered their time to make it all happen. She singled out Roy Robertson who organised the sheep and the shearing equipment.
“And the blokes who were shearing sheep all day, they were terrific,” she added.
Renata said there were things that could be improved for next year but overall it was a fantastic day.
She hopes that with the community’s support it will continue to grow, year after year.
