Murray cod (open season): three fish over a metre have been reportedly pulled to the side of the boat. I saw a picture of a 95 centimetre caught on a black orgy, a lot of good sized legal fish ranging from 60 through to 80cm. Most fish were caught while trolling or casting. Spinner baits and stucky lures accounted for a lot of the captures. Main basin and around Wade Island was popular.
Yellow belly: quiet compared to previous weeks. A couple of reports of fish over 50cm and one at 62cm caught on a yabbie. Trolling with stuckys again accounted for lots of fish.
Redfin: only a few reports. Trolling is accounting for most of the captures.
Carp: one report of 20 fish caught, all on corn. Park news: the park will be hosting some live music for New Years. We will also be running some movie nights, and other entertainment during the Christmas holidays and Santa will be about on Christmas Eve.
