A number of Gwen Warmington Lodge residents were quick to lend a helping hand on Friday. The ladies were involved in the packaging of creams to help BlazeAid volunteers and farmers at Bookham. The ladies did packs of four which included sorbelene, lanolin, after sun cream and vitamin E.
Activities officer Janice Puckett said the ladies loved the opportunity to help out.
“Everyone involved feels like they’re doing something. They know that sometimes they get help, and they want to give back what they can.”
The cream was courtesy of Millers Pharmacy and the Uniting Church distributed it to workers that afternoon.
