According to David Guthrey, manager district operations Highlands, a variety of IT resources such as video conferencing, online learning and Moodle have allowed for an expansion in the number of courses being offered to students.
“These courses include the Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment,
Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gambling,” said Mr
Guthrey.
“We will also be offering the Certificate III in Aged Care as well as courses in areas such as horticulture, wool classing, business services, information technology, welding and literacy,” Mr Guthrey said.
The campus is offering the Certificate III in Children’s Services this year.
Students who complete this course may enrol in the Diploma of Children’s Services, which they can complete flexibly online while still working.
