Gates will open at 11am as will a number of carnival rides and food stalls. The first event kicks off at 1pm.
The event’s feature will be the Akubra Suicidal. It is the feature bull-ride event and, according to event organiser Matt Darmody, will attract the most interest.
“They are professional riders so it will be great to watch,” he told the Tribune.
Darmody said the event will be a perfect one for the whole family.
“Sunday will be a great family day out. It will have entertainment, action, adrenaline, carnival rides for the kids, and you can just sit back and relax.”
The other highlight of the day will be the appearance of local Nick Pollack. Nick will be put in a barrel. The barrel helps distract the bull once a rider has been tossed or has jumped off.
“That will be great to see. He’s the man Nick, a good local kid and it will be great to watch,” Darmody said.
The stampede rodeo will also feature, in different divisions, bucking bulls, bucking broncos, barrel racing with motor bikes and some of the best clowns in the business.
“Last year’s show was great and we are looking to go even bigger this year.”
The event is BYO.
