A 35-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the theft of food and drink during three different burglaries.
Police said the man broke into Yass Primary School sometime between Friday and Monday and stole about $150 worth of food items. Entry was gained through a locked door.
He has also been charged with breaking into the Joe O’Connor Sports Oval and Yass Primary School canteens earlier this year.
Unlicensed driver
A 22-year-old man was caught driving unlicensed in an uninsured and unregistered vehicle on Wargeila Road at 2am last Wednesday. He will appear before Yass Local Court on a date to be fixed.
Urinator fined
A 24-year-old man earned a $200 on-the-spot fine for urinating in Laidlaw Street, Yass at 6pm last Wednesday.
Single vehicle accident
Three people suffered minor injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a collision at the intersection of Petit Street and Julian Palce, Yass, between 3-5am on Sunday.
The male driver suffered minor injuries to his head and face, a female passenger suffered a sore leg and a male passenger suffered a sore knee.
Police are investigating.
Sprayer stolen
Police are investigating the theft of a 300L commercial spray unit valued at $3250 from a property on Wangalo Road, near Peelwood. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
