Forty of the Australia’s best bull riders will compete on, with the top 10 scores then riding off in the championship round and a chance to match their skills against 10 extremely tough bulls from two of Australia’s leading stock contractors.
The rodeo will kick off on the Saturday night at 6.30pm. Tickets are $15 for an adult and $5 for children. Weekend passes are also available through the Yass Show office on 6226 1615.

HECTIC: a bull bred by Rod Harris from Barooga. It carries the blood of former APRA champion bucking bull ‘Bodacious”.
JOHNNY CASH: Carries blood of 2009 ABCRA Bucking Bull of the Year ‘Johnny Horn’. It’s a real cowboy’s bull with an average score of 85 points when ridden.
NAVIGATOR: Bred by renowned bull rider Ed Carlon. He used this bull as a practice bull for 12 months before it was purchased by L&M Rodeo Co.
NOVOCANE: Started in the PBR ranks just this year and has only been ridden once. It is really compact and explosive.
OFF THE CHAIN: This Queensland bull is one of L&M Rodeo Co’s most electric bulls and has been ridden three times for an average score of 86 in three years
GAMBLER: Unridden in two years, T&G Kelly’s Couriers from Gundagai have sponsored this bull and placed a $1000 bounty on his head to go to the rider that can last the full eight seconds.
Zorro.jpg ZORRO: Bred by bull rider Jake Wilson, this bull was part of his practice pen but showed too much promise so was sold to L&M Rodeo Co.
DODGE RAM: This bull was bred by champion bull rider Jamie Manning from Dubbo. It has an unknown bloodline but has been on the rodeo circuit for the last 12 months.
COCANE: A four-year-old bull bred by Tony Kelly of Gundagai. Really hard kicking young bull that has been unridden in the last 12 months
DOMINATOR: another bull bred by Ed Carlon and used as a practice bull. It won the 2012 ABCRA Southern Zone Bucking Bull of the Year and was also runner-up Bucking Bull of the Year for the ABCRA in 2012. When ridden, riders have been as high as 90 points on him.
