Jamie-Lee Scorgie competed in the ACT Titles at Fairburn Park recently and came away with a big win. Participating in the heavy division, Jamie-Lee had problems qualifying after she lost a chain in one of the heat events. This cost Scorgie quite a few points and put her back in sixth place on the grid for the final.
She had a battle on her hands but, by using precision driving and channeling her nerves well, she was able to take the checked flag and the title of 2012 ACT Champ that came with it.
