In a match played at Victoria Park, the Yass Rams were outgunned by a stronger Goulburn Dirty Red’s side.
The game was close throughout and with only a few minutes to spare scores were locked up at 25-25.
In a heartbreaking play, a Goulburn player was able to cross the line right before the siren and claim a victory for the visitors.
The Hoggets also experienced a close match at home but, unlike the top-tier side, were able to get the points against Goulburn.
The final score was 16-15 and the last play of the game came after the siren when Yass landed a penalty goal to win.
