Raise it for Rochey

The Royal Hotel is gearing up for an extra busy Saturday night with ‘Raise it for Rochey’ all set to get underway at 6pm tomorrow.

The event has been put together to raise money for Jade Roche and his family. Jade was recently involved in a fall from a church building in Yass and remains bed-ridden at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney.

The night will include an auction, a DJ, lucky dips, raffles and prizes for costumes.

The theme is cartoons and superheroes.

On auction is five different signed NRL jersey’s, box seats to Canberra stadium matches, paintball passes, eskies and much more.

“We have had a huge response so far,” publican Dee Johnson said.

“I think we will pack it out tomorrow there has been that much interest.”

Dee also wanted to remind those who were going to participate in the auction that cash did not need to be given up front and that an account for payments has been set up.

There has also been a Westpac bank account called Jade Roche Benefit Account set up for anyone wanting to help that can’t make it to the event.

For more information or enquiries, phone Dee at the Royal Hotel 6226 3777 or Lisa Wylie on 0410 445 927.
