Wargeila Road 1.3 kilometres north of Laverstock Road will be closed between 9am and 2pm on Monday June 25 to enable works to be undertaken on repairing a damaged culvert.
A crane has been engaged to undertake this work, and to ensure the safety of both Yass Valley Council staff and motorists it is necessary for the road to be closed. The road closure will affect the section of Wargeila Road between Laverstock Road and Davis Lane.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this closure which is necessary to restore the culvert which was damaged some time ago,” a council spokesperson said.
