The vibrant and outgoing Devonport 15-year-old  is a picture of health -  something that she wasn't just four years ago.

In 2010 Phoebe was suffering from ovarian cancer. She was on a very tough treatment plan, which was taking its toll on both her and her family.

In stepped Mr Blair. He  decided to run from Burnie to Devonport to raise money for Phoebe and her family.

The Berwick family was the first in a line of children for whom Mr Blair has raised money.

The first time Phoebe met Mr Blair was just before he set off on his run, and since then the Berwick family has been grateful for his help.

Four years on, Phoebe has never been better and is cancer-free. ``I have been great: the checkups are now one a year and have been clear so far,'' she said.

Mr Blair's run raised $13,000 for the Berwick family, and to this day it has continued to benefit Phoebe's life.

"At the request of Tim we took a holiday to Melbourne to watch the football, but some of the money is still there and we have put it away for Phoebe,''  her mother,  Sarah Berwick, said.

"It will be for her to use whether it is for university of some sort of drama classes.''

The fund-raising efforts have had such a profound effect on the Berwick family that  they have been alongside Mr Blair during his other runs, and the Bluff to Bondi will be no different.

"I have run with Tim during his other fund-raisers,'' Phoebe said.

"It is something I like   to do.  He gave so much to me that I would like to try and help give back to him somehow.''

 Phoebe will also be there for Mr Blair's biggest challenge coming up later this month.

The Berwick family has booked flights to see him cross the finish line in Sydney.

Mr Blair's new Tim Blair Run For Kids foundation is something that Phoebe will support no matter what.

The aim of the Bluff to Bondi run is to raise $100,000.
