The event aims to recognise the importance of wool through AWI fashion and other Australian designers, and this is vital for the industry according to Mr Crisp.
"The event has not quite broken even financially but we believe strongly that these events are so important for our wool industry and rural Australia," he said.
Mr Crisp said it would be a huge shame to see the event discontinued and that belief was shared by the throng of people in attendance.
"We have been overwhelmed by the number of people saying that it needs to happen more often, so let's hope that it will continue to happen."
Many dignitaries were in attendance including Hume MP Angus Taylor and this support was greatly appreciated by those involved in the wool, wine and fashion industries.
Mr Crisp wanted to thank all those who came, AWI Fashion, other designers, models and photographer John McRae for making it an event to remember.
