The meeting will address a number of issues concerning the not-for-profit entity including inviting membership from the community, the election of the Board of Directors and an update on the status of having the secondary school running next year.

The Mt Carmel College Steering Committee has been working hard since March to enable secondary students of the school to continue their education all the way through after news broke that Archbishop Prowse approved the closure of the secondary component as of next year.

The committee then recently established Mt Carmel College Ltd, which will take over the mission of establishing and running the portion of Mt Carmel school that is a business.
