0 valiant hearts who to your glory came, through dust of conflict and through battle flame tranquil you lie, your knightly virtue proved your memory hallowed in the land you loved.
The hour has come for rest. This poppy-an emblem of sacrifice, the symbol of life offered in the service of ones country-is a link between our comrade and us who remain. We place it here-in rememberence.
Our beloved comrade- Private Gerald James Longley
