A 67-year-old man from Queanbeyan crashed his car while driving in a westerly direction on Yass Valley Way on Monday morning. In heavy fog at about 6.40am the driver attempted a U-Turn near Cooma Cottage and he was hit from behind. No one was hurt and the vehicle that was hit had to be towed.

House vandalised
Offenders vandalised a Rossi Street home in Yass by spray painting it while the residents were away sometime between July 20 and 21. Anyone with information should call Yass Police Station 6226 9399 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
Teen in trouble
A teenager who continued to swear abuse at police during an incident in Comur Street will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
Police said despite several warnings, the 17-year-old boy refused to stop swearing at them at midday on Tuesday July 22.
Ducks killed
Three pet ducks were killed, possibly shot, at a Laidlaw Street, Yass, home on Tuesday July 22.
The ducks appear to have been shot while the owners were away between 9am and 4pm. Anyone with information should contact police.
Car park damage
Police are investigating an incident where a driver allegedly crashed into a parked car at Atherfield at about 1pm on Thursday July 24. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Yass Police Station.
