During that time two horse carriage shafts made of wood with leather and brass fittings were removed from the premises. They have an estimated value of $1500 and were being restored on behalf of a client. If anyone has information please contact Yass police station on 6226 9399.
Animal cruelty
Police are investigating an animal cruelty case after being alerted to a four-year-old staffordshire being in poor condition at a local Yass residence. Police responded to the call on Saturday August 30 and are now conducting an investigation in liaison with the RSPCA.
Grand Junction crash
On the evening of Thursday August 28, a driver attempting to negotiate the roundabout at Grand Junction and Warroo Road ended up crashing into the south-east curb before coming to rest on a nearby fence. Reasons for the incident are not yet known and police are continuing their investigations with the owner.
