By all reports it was a huge success thanks to a combination of perfect weather, high quality competition and socialising.
There were bowlers from all over NSW and the ACT, but it was the Yass team of Ann Marie Bruce, Linda Scott and skipper Sharon Harmer that took out the triples tournament. They were too strong for the Tumut and Canberra Forrest teams that came in second and third respectively.
One of the event organisers, Lorraine Cooke, was thrilled was proud of the well-run competition.
"It was a fantastic weekend, everything went beautifully," she said.
"I'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves, there was great friendship and we got plenty of good feedback from the bowlers."
Cooke wanted to thank major sponsor Bendigo Community Bank (Boorowa), and the other local businesses who supported the event.
