Canberra cyclist Jessie MacLean won a silver medal as part of the Orica-AIS team time trial at the Cycling Road World Championships in Spain on Sunday.

It was part of an Aussie silver double, with the Orica-GreenEDGE team also finishing second in the men's event.
The women finished the 36-kilometre Ponferrada course one minute 17.56 seconds slower than US team Specialised-Lululemon, which stopped the clock at 43 mins 33.35 secs.
MacLean teamed up with Annette Edmondson, Melissa Hoskins, Amanda Spratt, Emma Johansson and Valentina Scandolara.
In the men's, BMC, for which former Tour de France winner Cadel Evans rides, was 31 seconds quicker than GreenEDGE around the 57-kilometre route.
The Aussie team was made up of Luke Durbridge, Brett Lancaster, Michael Hepburn, Damien Howson, Svein Tuft and Jens Mouris.
