It was confirmed yesterday that former senator, Dr Ursula Stephens, will be the official Country Labor candidate for the seat of Goulburn.
She will be taking on incumbent member for Goulburn, Pru Goward.
Comparing them is like the proverbial comparison between apples and oranges. One is Lberal, one is Labor. One was a member of the federal upper house, the other is a member of the state lower house. Ms Goward has held the seat of Goulburn since 2007. Dr Stephens was a senator for 12 years.
And of course there will be other candidates. Adrian Van Der Byl is understood to once again be the Christian Democratioc Party's candidate and Iain Fyfe has nominated for the Greens.
So, while it's early days, who has your preference so far for the seat of Goulburn?
