Yass' Anna Ritson will not contest the Labor Party's pre-selection ballot for the seat of Goulburn after making a late decision to withdraw her nomination.

Formal entries closed on Monday morning and Ursula Stephens was the only one left standing after Ms Ritson and Goulburn-Mulwaree Councillor Robin Saville opted out.
Ms Ritson told the Tribune it was a difficult decision but one she made in the best interest of her young family.
"I made the decision [not to nominate] late last week after discussing it with my family and my branch," she said.
"With two children, one school age, the other non-school age, a demanding job, branch secretary and motorsport commitments, free time for me can get pretty scarce. Labor needs someone who can campaign seven days a week to win the seat of Goulburn and I freely acknowledge that at this stage, I'm unable to do that.
"I think most people will understand how much of a juggling act life, work and kids can be sometimes and I'd hate to let one of the balls fall to the ground."
Ms Ritson pledged her support for former senator Ms Stephens, who will be looking to unseat the Liberal Party's incumbent Member for Goulburn Pru Goward.
"Ursula is a fantastic candidate and will be an outstanding member for Goulburn. I will be throwing all my energy and positivity into her Goulburn campaign and will be a part of her campaign team," she said.
