A 78-year-old Sydney man driving a red sedan crashed while driving south on the Hume Highway near Bowning on Sunday at 4pm.

The vehicle left the highway and crashed down into Bowning Creek.
The driver was airlifted to Canberra hospital and treated for multiple injuries but is in a stable condition. Police are still waiting to speak with the driver.

A 26-year-old Victorian woman driving a silver sedan on Yass Valley Way returned a positive reading for alchohol on Saturday. Police pulled her over at around 11.15am and she recorded a mid-range reading of 0.118. She will appear at Yass Local Court in January.
