With all proceeds going to the construction of the Bowning War Memorial, there has never been a better reason to attend the Bowning & Distict Lions Club event.
For a gold coin donation, there is so much to see and do.
With more than 50 stalls; children's rides; a jumping castle; a RAAF hot air balloon; a clairvoyant; 'Hughies Man Cave'; sheep dog demonstrations; and truck and bike competitions, there is really something for the whole family.
Along with all those attractions, there will also be auctions and raffles and organiser Cecile Felderhoff is hoping to raise more than the $3000 they made last year, to fully cover the war commemoration.
"It's the fourth one I've organised and it gets bigger every year. We're hoping to do even better because we want to have the memorial ready for ANZAC Day next year," she said.
The major sponsor of the event is the Bowning Hotel and it starts at 9am in the centre of town. For more information contact Cecile on 6227 6456.
