The event was implemented by NTDAC for the purpose of coming together and saving our culture for our children.
The NTDAC was formed in 2013 by a handful of Ngunnawal people in Sydney whose vision was to come together and unite as one large organised group with all of the family groups and stop the destruction of Ngunnawal.
The group is working towards implementing our traditions, cultural heritage and language and to come together as one, be proud of whom we are and stop the desecration of our culture.
We now have representation from most of the family groups, they include the Briar/Merritts, Bell/Chatfields, Lock/Connellys, Lanes, Connors, Browns and Lewis’.
The new NTDAC Directors are Patrick Lock (chairperson), Joshur Bell (treasurer), Kathleen Day (secretary), Debbie Wallace, Lavinus Eva Ingram, Rebecca Ingram, Roderick Dezi Connors, Daphne Placho,Wendy Brown and Kim Fenn.
Kay Day, Secretary NTDAC.
