The Mobile Veterinary Service is hosting a special seminar on Tuesday night which will be about trying to minimise the loss of animal life should a bushfire occur near your property.
A host of speakers will appear at the event to be held at the Murrumbateman Fire Station on Rose Street.
Equine Disaster Coordinator Misty Stebbing, RFS Fire Captain Matt Baker, vet Olivia James and Ann Muir from the Department of Primary Industries will all speak to attendees.
Michelle Basic will also speak about her tough experience during the Blue Mountains fires that happened last year.
"It's all about bushfire awareness," Ms Stubbings told the Tribune.
"We want to make sure people know what they need to do in an emergency situation."
If you're interested RSVP on 0457 453 819 by December 15. The event runs from 7-9pm.
