A 53-year-old man driving a Ford Falcorn crashed his car on the Hume Highway on Saturday at 9am. The man was travelling north, two kilometres south of the Barton Highway when he lost control and collided with the guard rail on the left hand side of the road. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Investigations are continuing.

Two bikes were taken from a Nicholls Drive address on Saturday at about 7pm. The bikes were later found at Williamson Park on Shaw Street, Yass. The bikes were immediately returned to their owners. Anyone with information is urged to contact Yass Police.
On Wednesday December 10 a 31-year-old woman was stopped by police for an RBT on Yass Valley Way. Police say the woman was arrested, at which time she resisted. She was then subdued by the use of capsicum spray. She was charged with resisting arrest, assaulting police, drug possession and other traffic matters. She will appear at Yass Local Court on January 6, 2015.
