Pam Ranyard was presented with a special community award by MP Katrina Hodgkinson at a community morning tea at the Yass Memorial Hall Thursday, December 11, for her contribution and service to the Burrinjuck community.

Pam was the first family run day care in the community, providing care to over 1000 children for 23 years.
“I was extremely humbled by the award. It is an amazing thing to see the kids you took care of grow up and step out into the world,” she said.
She believes that there is a great place for family day care in a small community and the experience is the most rewarding one.
Ms Hodgkinson’s daughter was one of the children Pam looked after.
