Last Tuesday was Pancake Day, we had a very yummy lunch after the game. Thelma Butt, Robyn Pollock, Sue Bush had a close game against Janice Harmer, Wilma Bingley and Elsie Shaw, winning 14-13.
Maureen Hall/Kath Grace, Helen Barton and Wendy Steel were the winners against Margaret Callaughan and Margaret Holston 19-10.
The Bowls Day on January 20 was well attended by 15 players and a game of consistency was played for Hen of the Walk and was won by Marion Darmody.
The next big event is our Sports Day on March 3. Players from all districts will be present and lunch will be prepared by the Social Committee. A stall will be held so we need lots of cooking and goods to be sold and help in any way to make a successful day. Our retired players are very welcome for lunch, just contact the Club to put names down.
Good Bowling.
