Every business in Goulburn should know that Labor is planning to fund their infrastructure plan with a $5.1 Billion tax grab from business. That threatens local jobs- small business can’t afford to pay more tax, life on the main streets of Goulburn, Yass and Boorowa are tough enough without a new Mortgage Duty, a Share transfer Duty and a Non-Real Transfer Duty!
ALP Upper House Member Steve Whan confirmed as much recently, with his comments surrounding infrastructure and its funding should the ALP win government in a debate with Katrina Hodgkinson.
Over the past four years NSW has enjoyed strong economic growth and low unemployment. Labor’s taxes will drive people out of business and jobs will go with it.
