A 31-year old male from Victoria has been transported to Canberra hospital after sustaining arm and head injuries, following an accident that occurred on the Hume Highway.

The incident happened approximately 1km north of the Yass Junction Service Centre, at 11am today.
The Driver of the vehicle was heading north bound along the Hume Highway when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a guide post and embankment. The car then rolled onto its roof and came to rest in the second northbound lane.
The local police, fire brigade and ambulance were at the scene. Authorities believe that, at this stage, the driver's injuries are not life threatening.
There was only minor disturbance to traffic.
