A huge convoy of up to 300 historic commercial vehicles will head out of Sydney to Yass via the Old Hume Highway. This is the third time the event has been staged and it has become the largest road rally of its type in Australia.
This visually spectacular 290km drive sees the roads lined with people waving the trucks on along this nostalgic piece of road. The event raises money for Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) with collections along the route and an evening celebration in Yass.
The convoy departs from Hawkesbury Showground at Clarendon early morning and will take in Luddenham, Bringelly and Narellan before turning onto the old 'Highway 31' to take in Picton, Bargo, Yerrinbool, Mittagong and Berrima.
After a lunch stop in Goulburn the trucks will continue through Breadalbane, Gunning and finally into Yass.
Enthusiasts are invited to see the trucks at either Clarendon (5am until around 8am) or Goulburn (10am until 2pm) or simply take up a position somewhere along the route.
