Two mens and two womens outfits will face off against Canberra sides in 2015.
The men will participate in State League Division 5 and Division 6, while the women will be part of both the Division Three and Division 4 State League competitions.
The mens group has been working hard on fitness and ball control over the last few weeks ahead of their away-from-home fixture against Weston Molonglo tomorrow.
Returning coach Gary Lennon is excited about the year ahead and believes his sides can achieve success.
"Everyone's been pretty keen at training and playing some pretty good football which is good to see," he told the Tribune yesterday.
"I've got some really good players which means the talent will be spread across nicely as well."
The reserve grade side will begin its season at Waramanga at 1pm and the first grade will follow at 3pm.
"We've had a fair bit of rain and missed a few sessions but hopefully that doesn't hurt us too much.
"I think most of the boys are pretty keen to get started anyway."
The ladies had a poor 2014, finishing sixth in the Division 4 competition last year, but coach Ingrid Davis has high hopes this year.
"It's the first time we've had two teams so at the moment we're just sorting out positions and figuring out the best places to put people," she said.
"It's good because we have more choices than we have had in previous years which is great."
Davis will be charged with leading the Division 3 outfit, while Kath Farnell will coach the Division 4 side.
"There's a few things we have to work on to improve on last year but the main thing is teamwork and knowing what the players around you are going to do," Davis added.
The women's team have games kicking off at 12pm at Dickson this Sunday.
"We've also got a game coming up next weekend in Yass, and we only get about six home games a year, so that should kick start us off pretty well," Davis said.
The mens sides have both been promoted two divisions but Lennon believes they can step up.
"I think playing against better teams means you play better football and I know we won't be out of our depth, I think it will be a good year for us."
