The Agricultural Bureau Committee were pleased with the number of entries in the various Sheep sections. This being the first year since 2012 the Sheep have been present.
With the Art, Photo and Fruit/Vegetable displays and the variety of Stall holders there was something to interest everyone. A special thank you to Rotary for bringing the Jumping Castle for the children.
The music provided by Julie Hearne added atmosphere and was most enjoyable. The usual array of Cakes/Jams Pickles, etc, beautifully displayed by Emma Cox, which was a busy place with the early arrivals to the Fair.
Thank you to Neville Reece and Richard Julian for cooking the BBQ, which was very well supported as was the Devonshire Tea. The Food Hamper Basket raffle was won by Lester Jones and Helen Nesbitt won the bottle of Champagne; donated by Lulu Julian.
A huge thank you to the Red Cross and Hospital Auxiliary members for giving their time to sell raffle tickets, cook the delicious cakes and sweets, and the trading table donated other items and worked tirelessly on the day. We would also like to thank the Agricultural Bureau for the opportunity to raise funds for our two Organisations.
