In miserable conditions on Saturday the men's division six side recorded a 9-1 victory and were followed by division five scoring a 7-3 away win in Tuggeranong.
The good news followed on Sunday, with the division three ladies outfit winning 3-2 and the division four side managing a draw, 3-3.
Rain, lightening and thunder greeted the Redbacks on Saturday, but it did little to stop the division six side from putting on a clinic against Woden Valley.
Ryan Betts, Daniel Taylor and Brad Nielson continued their good goal-scoring form, scoring twice each for the red-and-blacks. Jarrod Porter, Grant Taylor and Oliver Watson also managed to find the back of the net, in a rough day for the hosts.
The division five Woden side were a cut above the division six outfit, but they were still not good enough to challenge Yass' top side.
In the four goal win Brett Darmody scored his second double in as many weeks, with Jarrod Porter also nabbing two goals. Stu Bradshaw, Daniel Taylor and John Mannweiler also scored.
Coach Gary Lennon is happy with how his team is travelling, so early in the season.
"We had another pretty good day out on the weekend," he said on Monday.
"The boys are playing really well, gelling well and we're in a good position.
"Hopefully we can keep it up."
The Yass women also had a weekend to remember, with division three scrapping out a tough win against Brindabella in Kaleen.
Victoria Alley, Rebecca McLean and Natasha Farnsworth were able to score and help get the ladies over the line.
The division four outfit performed strongly as well, taking home a point against Palerang United.
Maddison Douven, Amalie Birkhol and Victoria Alley, who played two games, each found the back of the net.
This weekend the men will host ANU, with games starting at 1pm, and the women will play at home against Gungahlin United starting at 12pm on Sunday.
