The women trounced their opponents 4-1, in good conditions at Walker Park on Sunday.
The victory comes after a solid showing against Palerang last weekend, where they registered a 3-3 draw.
Rebekah Gallagher continued her impressive goal-scoring form, claiming a hat-trick for Yass. She was backed up by Georgia Pettigrew, who also found the back of the net.
The division three outfit didn't have the same success, losing 4-2 in the 12pm fixture.
The game was close until halftime, when Gungahlin skipped away and scored twice to claim the three points.
Fifteen-year-old Victoria Alley kept her side in it scoring twice, but it wasn't enough on the day.
New recruit Jessica Cole ran hard all day, and claimed the Players' Player points.
Coach Ingrid Davis was satisfied with the team's progress.
"This result proved that we can hold our own in the higher division," she told the Tribune.
"Considering we've only been playing with each other for a few weeks, I think the team has come together amazingly well."
The men had mixed success against ANU on Saturday.
The division six side is no longer undefeated, after going down in a close one 2-0.
The second-grade side was left to rue a number of missed chances and a late second-half ANU goal was the nail in the coffin.
Russell Farnell was ever-present at left-back, taking home the Players' Player award for his efforts.
The news was better in division five, with Yass eventually winning 3-2.
Yass went up by three, thanks to goals from Mitch Darmody, Jarrod Porter and Daniel Taylor, but two late strikes from ANU took some gloss off the win. John Cover claimed the Players' Player.
Despite the defensive lapses late on, Coach Garry Lennon was satisfied.
"This year we are playing in a way that will mean we are going to concede goals, it's going to happen," he said.
"What we need to do is simply ensure that we score more thatn our opponents...and the boys did that on Saturday."
On Saturday the men will travel to Kambah to face Tuggeranong United and on Sunday the women will play Narrabundah at Harrison.
