Players from the Yass Rams Junior Rugby Union Club travelled to Queanbeyan last weekend to compete in trials for the junior Brumbies squads that will play at the NSW Junior Rugby Union State Championships next month.

Yass juniors competed at the trials representing both South Coast Monaro and the ACT Junior Rugby Union.
Current Rams player Tom Carey was selected in the Brumbies under-12s side, along with former Ram and Yass Valley local Jack Callaughan.
Bowning local and former Rams player Connor Bush was selected in the Brumbies under-13s squad.
Other Rams players to compete in the trials were Darcey Bush, George Walker, Charlie Crozier, Sam Clark, Sam Pack and Fraser Weller who represented South Coast Monaro, and Leo Dwyer who represented the ACT with Tom Carey.
The NSWJRU State Championships will be held in Sydney over the June long weekend.
