Yass' division six side romped to a 12-0 win, while division five triumphed 8-2.
A large number of Redbacks players ran for the better part of 180 minutes on Saturday, but it didn't affect their ability to find the back of the net.
In Brendan Heat's 100th game for the club, division six never really looked troubled, scoring early on in the piece thanks to a Grant Taylor header.
Five more goals came in the first half and another six after oranges, against a side that could field only ten players.
Brett Darmody and Jarrad Porter nabbed hat-tricks, Mitch Darmody got a brace, and Jim Bennett-Burleigh, Oliver Watson and Simon Geraghty also scored.
While the score suggests otherwise, the division five game was far more competitive.
Woden Valley was spirited for most of the match, but a handful of defensive lapses were all Yass needed to take control of the game.
Brett Darmody continued his outstanding goal-scoring form, scoring his second treble of the day.
Usual suspect Porter scored a double, while Mitch Darmody also found the back of the net twice, once with an impressive free-kick from just beyond the 18-yard box.
Daniel McFeeters, used for most of the game as a rolling substitute, also made his mark, heading home from a corner.
Players' Player Rex Stacey was impenetrable in goals and stopped a number of top-drawer shots from the Woden Valley forwards.
Coach Gary Lennon was satisfied with the win, but said the real challenges will come later in the season.
"We got the job done on Saturday and I'm happy about that, but it's not like we're getting carried away with any of it, the better teams are still to come," he said.
"We've got a big couple of games against ANU at ANU on Saturday, and then a number of hard games towards the back end of the season, so then we'll know where we really stand."
The Yass women had mixed success at the weekend, with Division 3 losing, but Division 4 winning.
Division 3 put up a strong fight against the undefeated Belnorth but lost 3-0. There were positives though, as Belnorth have registered much bigger wins in 2015 and sit atop the ladder. Despite the loss the team was able to celebrate the feats of Natasha Farnsworth, who has now played 150 games for the local club.
Division 4 played extremely well on Sunday, and was able to topple a team that sits three spots above them on the table.
Sarah Dowling and Amalie Birkhol were both able to find the back of the net in the tight win.
The game was Birkhol's last for the Redbacks, with the Danish exchange student moving on from Yass. Birkhol has a happy knack for finding the back of the net so she will be difficult to replace.
On Saturday the men will travel to Canberra to face ANU on their synthetic pitches with division six starting at 1pm and division five at 3pm.
On Sunday the Division 3 women will come up against Brindabella at Wanniassa at 12pm, while the Division 4 women will play Palerang at home at 2pm.
