A 4-year-old Bowning boy was transferred to Sydney Children's Hospital after being run over by a ride-on lawn mower at his home on Saturday.

The lawnmower was being driven by a family member when the incident occurred at about 1pm.
The young boy suffered a number of cuts to his body.
He was transferred by Ambulance to Walker Park and was then airlifted to hospital in Sydney where he is now in a stable condition.
