Bowning Village Hall is available for hire for festivities such as Birthday Parties, Weddings, Trivia Nights and much more. The Hall has a large kitchen, dining room and open floor with a performance stage. Toilets are perfectly clean and the surrounding area has a park for the children and even spacious enough for a picnic under the large Acorn Trees. Bowning’s annual Country Fair will be held on Sunday November 15. Again it will be a day which holds a lot of meaning for many. Can Assist is close to many-a-family’s hearts and is the reason this day has come forth. The country theme is always a winner with all the different aspects of what makes our country the country it is, with the animals, music, food, plants, wool, stalls, raffles and the list goes on. All stalls need to be booked in advance by phoning Renata on 62276507.
This year we are hoping to enter into the Billy Cart Derby at the Classic Yass celebrations on November 7. I would love to see our Bowning Village name written upon a cart or two and our youth out having fun on the day and families cheering with pride.
