It was a a great day to be in the field, with each bowler taking wickets for Bookham.
Tim Hazell was the best of them, though, taking 3/6 off five overs. Josh Robertson also bowled well, claiming 2/17 off four and the visitors were all out for just 54 runs off 21 overs.
It was a relatively straight forward run chase and, despite losing four wickets on the way, the Bulls reached the target in the 18th over. Sean McMullen was the best with the bat for Bookham, managing 17 on a tricky pitch.
Daniel Poidevin continued his stellar form for the Golf Club on Saturday, posting 57 against the Pirates.
His captain won the toss and elected to bat, and along with the strong innings from Poidevin, Rob Field (24) was the only other batsman to offer real support.
The Pirates bowlers were tight and disciplined and had the ladder-leaders all out for 121 off 40.1 overs. Matt Lawrence was the pick of the bowlers, taking 5/15.
Despite the strong performance from the bowlers, the Royal Hotel batsmen offered very little and Piranhas had them out for 65 after 23 overs. Poidevin asserted more dominance over the match, taking 4/8 off 4.
Harden produced the upset of the round just beating the Snipers in Harden.
The hosts won the toss, elected to bat and worked their way to a total of 8/159 off 45 overs.
Craig Irwin and Brent Poidevin were the pick of the bowlers for The Club, taking three wickets each.
David Field (72) got the run chase off to a solid start for the visitors but he received little help from his teammates. Nathan Apps was the second highest run scorer and he only managed 18 before he was bowled.
In a late scramble to get the win, the Snipers were eventually bowled out stranded on 153 in the last over of the day.
In the Sweeney Cup the Golf Club Colts were embarrassed by Gundaroo in Bowning.
In a bold move Gundaroo won the toss and sent the Colts into bat and it quickly proved to be the right decision.
The Colts batsmen were all at sea and they eventually succumbed with only 55 runs on the board in the 27th over.
Once Rob Clarke (33no) got the run chase off to a good start for the Gunners the result was never in doubt and they had notched the win in just the ninth over. Mark Oliver also had a good day at the crease, scoring an unbeaten 24.
There is officially no undefeated side in the Sweeney Cup anymore, with the Horns beating Harden in Harden.
After winning the toss, The Soldiers Club sent Harden into bat and it was clearly the right decision. The hosts struggled to deal with the bowling of Brad Hansen (3/16) and Andrew Hansen (2/13) and they were eventually out for 97 in the 32nd over.
Todd Spackmann batted with grit, scoring 27, but the biggest contributor for Harden was the extras forfeited by the Horns - 29.
The Horns were destructive in response, smashing the Harden bowlers to all parts of the ground. Brad Hansen (37no) and Adam Greenwood (33) were particularly impressive, and after just 12 overs at the crease, the visitors claimed an impressive victory.
In its match against the Golf Club Taipans at Joe O'Connor Park, a ten-man Murrumbateman side proved too good.
The visitors were sent in to bat and thanks largely to Jim Gray (43) and Andrew McLean (33), Murrumbateman eventually posted 130.
Gray and McLean were the standouts with the ball as well, taking three and five wickets respectively. With one wickets remaining the Golf Club rallied and looked the goods but a good piece of wicketkeeping from Mark Forlonge put an end to the chase.
The Dalton Dingoes enjoyed a big win, smashing the Royal Pirates by 187 runs.
Dalton batted first and Neil Corby (79) got his side off to a great start. He enjoyed support from Michael Poidevin (38) and Lee Hickey (37), which meant the Dingoes managed 238 before they were all out after 34 overs.
The Pirates were never in the match and, with the help of 10 extras, they limped to 51 before they were rolled.
