The Yass Magpies Under 18’s put up a good first half performance against the Goulburn Bulldogs to only trail 14-8 at the break but were over ran in the second stanza to go down 42-8.

The team is only young but has to learn not to drop their heads when decisions don’t go their way. After being in the contest during the first half, a contentious early try to the Bulldogs to open the second half took the wind out of their sails and their intensity dropped away badly.
There is a fair bit of potential in the team and a win is not that far down the track for them.
Best for the locals was Sam Pye-Edwards, Bailey Maher and Harrison Elphick whilst Kyle Danilczak tried hard to rally his troops.
