Police investigating a truck accident on the Barton Highway has issued fines to two separate motorists who were filming and taking photos of the scene, early Friday morning.

Around 7am, a white prime mover travelling north carrying Woolworth goods, veered off the Barton Highway and came to a stop in the nature strip just south of Murrumbateman.
The 29-year-old male driver was issued a negligent driving infringement on scene by the Highway Patrol. The driver sustained no injuries and no other vehicle was involved.
While police were investigating the scene, two separate drivers were caught taking photos and filming the accident. Both drivers were issued with fines.
Minor traffic disruptions are still underway, as RMS work to clean up the area, the delay is due to the angle of the accident and the weight of the truck.
Motorists are asked to drive with caution and reminded that driving whilst on a phone is an offence.
