Yass Valley Youth Council is inviting all students aged 12-19 years in the area to the youth meeting at the Bowning Hall on Tuesday the 7th of June after bus drop offs. This is an opportunity for our young members of the community to get together and share ideas regarding where we live. As parents we need the help of our children, your children to get a better understanding of their needs. There are projects in which the younger generation has awesome ideas for planning fundraisers and events as well as setting new goals in the area. Share afternoon tea and a BBQ dinner while getting to know other students, council members and parents. Please share this information with family and friends for this is a wonderful way to learn the ropes of putting together all sorts of ideas for team management and time management. Watch out for flyers for this afternoon meeting and for further information please contact Cathy Campbell at Yass Council on 6226 1322.

Biggest Moring Tea

Creative Sunday’s
I am looking for community members to become involved in a mosaic project over the next few months. We are running with the times of 1pm-3pm and in that time a design needs to be produced to submit and tile collections continued. If you have and interest or have any tiles you are no longer needing please send them our way. I also encourage help with this project from all age groups, the more the merrier.
On the Look Out
Bowning Play Group requires shelving and plastic packing boxes to store our toys, we are also hoping to secure ourselves some sort of storage unit to house our art works. We have big sheets which need to be stored flat, if you can help or have an idea please let me know.
Thought for the Day
Remember those who don’t get out much, whether it be the elderly or friends or neighbours who are ill. Just a quick ring, message or visit can brighten someone’s day.
Keep Well To All
