The driver was negotiating the corner at the intersection of Queens Street and the Burley Griffin Way when the truck rolled over at 9pm on Wednesday May 18. Police investigations are continuing.
Offensive conduct
A 19-year-old Canberra man has been fined $500 for offensive conduct after police observed him urinating on a shop front in Comur Street at 10.45pm on Saturday night.
Car accident
A white utility driven by a 40-year-old Yass woman rolled over on Wargeila Road on Monday morning. The accident occurred at 6.10am and the woman suffered minor injuries. She was treated at Yass Hospital and the car required towing.
Drink driving
A 42-year-old Canberra man was charged with low-range drink driving on the weekend. Police detected the man driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.067 on the Barton Highway at 10am on Sunday. He will face court in June.
