After wet-weather conditions in previous weekends, the Yass Golf Club finally held its stableford and Auto Pro Guzzlers Mug competitions together on Saturday–Sunday, September 18–19.

Michael Coggan won the Yass Auto Pro guzzlers Mug with a score of 70 (8) 62.
“A great score in the conditions,” event organiser Neville Matthews said.
On Saturday, Wilbur Whyte won the stableford A grade with a score of (11) 40 while Tony Bayley won the B grade with a score of (16) 42.
The golf club also hosted a Turning Wave Festival event – Poets’ Breakfast – before tee off on Saturday where attendees had the chance to be named Tuckerbox Reciter of the Year.
