Well, wonder no more. Local authors Susan Lattwein and Darcy Delany will be holding an author talk at Yass Valley Library on Saturday, October 22 from 11am to 12.30pm.
Susan Lattwein’s ARAFURA romance-adventure series, set in Darwin, is about a school teacher who must grapple with the impact of PTSD on the man she won’t allow herself to love.
He’s a military man with a past, and that past comes back to haunt both of them. But it’s not all dark, there’s plenty of action and laughter along the way.
“I became fascinated by the complexities of modern masculinity whilst researching the stories, and would love to hear what men and women have to say on the topic,” Susan said.
As for romance, don’t get her started….
Darcy Delany captures the fairy tale elements of modern day life through her Modern Day Fairy Tale series. “Romance is well and truly alive, and my books celebrate that,” says Darcy.
Her work features sassy women and strong, silent heroes in exotic locations including Cairns, Perth and even Canberra!
With her trademark sassy style, Darcy also explores the quirky elements of love and romance in her short story collection, Love Gone Wrong: Short stories about love and all its debacles.
Susan and Darcy will be discussing the stories behind their stories at Yass Valley Library on Saturday, October 22 at 11am.
The session is FREE, however, bookings are essential as a light lunch will be served. Ring 6226 1305 to make a booking.
