A 27-year-old male will appear in Local Court November 17 after 24-grams of methamphetamine (ICE), was found in his hotel room. He was arrested on the scene, taken to the Yass Police Station and charged with possession of prohibited drug and supply.

Positive for cannabis
Police stopped a 29-year-old female from Yass on Crago Street at 2.45pm on October 12. A random breath and drug test showed positive for cannabis. She was taken to the Police Station for a secondary sample, showing a positive result. She was issued with a prohibition notice from driving for 24-hours and a sample was sent to Leeton for analysis.
Police stopped a 35-year-old male from Glebe at 9.24am on October 11. A breath and drug test read positive for cannabis. His luggage was searched a revealed two large resealable bags of cannabis. A secondary test at the station showed was positive for cannabis. He was issued with a cannabis caution and a sample was sent to Leeton.
Dog attack
A 75-year-old male from Jugiong was bitten on the right leg by a staffordshire dog at the Murrumbateman Field Days at 10am on October 15. The injury was cleaned and wrapped by SES on scene. The man did not pursue charges.
Drink driving
A 36-year-old Yass man was driving his Nissan Navara on October 24, when he was stopped for a random breathe test at 3.40pm on Cooks Hill Road. The analysis was .055, he was issued with Low Range PCA and will appear in court.
Political sign theft
A 34-year-old male from Murrumbateman has been charged with goods in custody after police found him in possession of a stolen political advertisement for an ACT liberal candidate at 3pm, October 1. He will appear in Yass Local Court on November 17.
Burning vehicle
Sunday, October 17 at approximately 9.20pm, a 2007 Holden Commodore with NSW plates was found on fire at 1245 Nanima Road. An investigation is underway and no one has reported the car missing.
