Yellow Belly: Good fish are being caught around the park foreshore, mainly bait fishing with small yabbies or worms. The yellows are starting to hit trolled and cast lures with fish being caught down to 5m. Upstream around Narran Gullen Island and the Yass River arm are fishing well on bait and lure.
Redfin: Few redfins are being caught among the yellow belly, mainly on worms with the odd one taking a lure. Once normal spring weather arrives, the fishing should fire up.
Park News: We certainly got hammered with the rain and wind over the long weekend and school holidays. The dam reached 104% again following 114mm of rain. A tree came down on power lines causing a park blackout for 12.5 hrs. Fires are still permitted in the park due to cool weather.
